Three Things You Need To Have To Enjoy A Good Old Campfire

That whole camping experience definitely wouldn't be complete if you don't have a campfire burning throughout the whole night, keeping you guys warm and full of that campfire cheer that should definitely make you enjoy your camping trip more. So what's a camper to do to enjoy his campfire? Well that's fairly easy.

You need to have a couple of things to bring along with you. Here are a couple of basic things that you might want to bring along with you to help you with your campfire. Remember though, that not all campfires are the same; it would vary depending on their use. But basically, if you just want to have a campfire for the sake of enjoying it during a camping trip, here's what you're going to need.

1. Some kindling and wood

In order to start a fire, you basically need to have three elements. First is some oxygen; you need at least 21% worth of oxygen in air for a fire to burn perfectly. Secondly, you're going to need some heat; not just any ordinary heat but preferably a spark or something hot enough to make your fuel source burn. Thirdly, of course, you're going to need to have a fuel source.

In our case, we need to have wood as our fuel source to keep our campfire burning. This means you need to have some firewood, preferably the driest ones you could find to get it burning. It takes a bit of work to get a fire going, mind you, so make sure you have something like an accelerant to make your fire burn faster and stronger.

2. Some marshmallows, chocolate and some graham crackers. What does all that add up to? S'mores!

What's a campfire without some s'mores, right? It's nearly almost every kid's and the older people's favorite snack around a campfire. What more could you do to enjoy a campfire than heating up some s'mores, right? It's a very, very popular snack that has been seen as an all-time favorite dessert when camping.

These babies are typically made by heating the marshmallow on a coat hanger, then once heated enough, you would then proceed to put it on graham crackers with a piece of chocolate added in. What you get after that is simply just an amazing snack that will definitely make you want to ask for more. It's one thing that every camper must try doing when there's a campfire.

3. If you're quite the musical person, how about a guitar then?

Guitars are actually more common in campgrounds than you think. What's more cliché-ish than playing songs around the campfire, right? Well, whether it's a cliché or not, it's actually quite a good way to keep that good mood going when the fire's burning. So if you're quite talented at the strings, why not showcase that talent in front of your friends, right? Here's a hint as well Romeo, it's a very good way to impress a girl that you might have a crush on.
